SA Championships
This last weekend the Rondebosch Boys’ Rowing Club competed at the annual South African Schools Rowing Championships where they competed against rowing schools from all over the country as well as from Zimbabwe.
We are immensely proud of the boys’ efforts and results, as well as how they conducted themselves on tour which really made the boys stand out. The team made multiple finals, which included the boys u19 1st scull, 1st pair and 1st four at the event placing them in the top 8 crews in the country for their respective events which is really something to be proud of.
Congratulations to the boys u19 1st quad made up of: Ryan Dellbridge, Thomas van Der Schijff, Joshua Keys, Calvin Nesbitt and Nicholas Poulter for a well earned silver medal in the event.
Congratulations also go to the boys u16 A quad made up of: Kai Duckitt, Joseph Krige, Ethan Du Toit, Luca Scott and Ethan Galp who also won silver in their event.
Well done to all the boys and coaches for their amazing efforts and results. We couldn’t be prouder!
