Thirteen of our swimmers competed at the South African Short Course Swimming Championships over the weekend of 17th to the 19th of August
The boys competing were:

Troy McWilliam (Grade 10)
Nicholas Trower (Grade 9)
Alexander Benecke (Grade 9)
Noah Wollenschlaeger (Grade 9)
Connor Kinnear (Grade 9)
Andrew Gilbert ( Grade 8 )
Ben Sirin ( Grade 8 )
Special mention should be made of Taylor Luck, Nicholas Trower, Benn McWilliam, Troy McWilliam and Jeremy Labuschagne who all placed in the top 10 for some of their events, and specifically Taylor Luck who won gold in the 100m freestyle and 50m backstroke and silver in the 50m freestyle. He was also part of the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay team who won silver
Taylor is currently in Israel representing South Africa at the Junior World Aquatics Swimming Championship and we wish him all the best for that
