A massive congratulations to James Webb (Grade 11) who was awarded with the Springbok Scout Award last term!
The Springbok award is the highest award achievable by any Scout in South Africa. This award is the equivalent of the UK’s Queen’s Scout and the American Eagle Scout. Among the requirements, the Scout must complete at least 40 hours of community service, lead a hike of over 30km in unfamiliar territory, and plan and construct a pioneering project.
Very few scouts reach this level and it requires special dedication to get there. Well done James!
