We use a dual grade head system, which places a special responsibility on senior members of staff and their team of class teachers to ensure that all of our boys receive recognition for their actions. Each Pastoral Head is appointed for a five year period and moves up with the grade. Their prime focus is to get to know every boy in her / his grade and provide a support base on all levels. The main role of the Grade Head is to be familiar and become a specialist with administrative aspects of a particular grade (e.g. subject choices, promotion regulations) as such they do not move up with the grade.
