Little Bosch Grade R is a nurturing, playful, and structured learning environment where young boys are encouraged to explore, create, and grow. Through a variety of engaging activities, we spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and develop essential problem-solving skills.
Our spacious, secure campus provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Grade R families, ensuring every child feels safe and supported. Joyful laughter, enthusiastic play, and kind words fill our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an environment where friendships flourish and learning is embraced.
Through a learner-centred approach, we nurture each boy’s growth by engaging him in play-based experiences that spark curiosity and joy. Grounded in care, camaraderie and a spirit of discovery, this foundation shapes confident, enthusiastic Bosch boys who are ready to embrace the world and their place in it.
Little Bosch Grade R has a rich history of growth and transformation. Established in 2004 by Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School Headmaster, Tony Ryan, and a team of consultants, the facility was developed under the expert guidance of ECD specialist, Meryl Hewett-Fourie.
Little Bosch Grade R operates under the umbrella of Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School, adhering to the governance structures established by the elected parents serving on the RBPS Governing Body. This ensures that the school aligns with broader institutional policies and educational standards. However, the daily operations and management of Little Bosch remain the direct responsibility of the Head, who oversees the school’s functioning and ensures a nurturing learning environment for our boys.

The Parent Association
The Parent Association (PA) plays a vital role in fostering community engagement and support. Responsible for events, fundraising, and various school initiatives, the PA contributes to the enrichment of Little Bosch throughout the year. At the first meeting of the school year, parents are elected to designated PA portfolios, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration in supporting the school’s mission.
