Counselling

Our full-time Clinical Social Worker is dedicated to supporting the emotional, social, and personal well-being of the children in our care. Operating from the guiding belief that “children do well if they can,” this role emphasizes the importance of understanding the underlying factors that may hinder a child’s ability to thrive. With a compassionate and thoughtful approach, the social worker helps staff and families respond constructively to behavioural challenges. In addition to working with children, they provide support and counselling to parents, helping them navigate challenges and strengthen their parenting skills.

The Clinical Social Worker is also the coordinator and staff trainer for our Protective Behaviours Programme, which is implemented across all grade levels. This programme empowers children with the awareness, language, and practical skills they need to keep themselves safe. It also encourages them to explore the world with confidence and curiosity, balancing caution with a sense of adventure.
