Fundraising
Our young men are on a journey of growth, discovery, and leadership, and we believe that a strong foundation in education is the key to unlocking their full potential. At Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where our boys can excel academically, develop strong character, and explore their passions. To continue offering exceptional programs and resources that empower our young men, we invite you to join us in our fundraising initiatives. Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School is a section 18A approved organisation and may issue a donations tax certificate to donors. This tax certificate could be used to claim a deduction against income tax.

Shelter our Story Campaign
A safe and secure learning environment is essential for every student, and a strong roof is the first line of defence. The roof of Little Bosch, our Grade R facility, is in critical disrepair, with leaks and damage threatening our classrooms and the valuable resources within them. Through our Shelter our Story fundraising campaign we are raising funds to replace the roof and ensure our boys can continue to learn and grow without disruption. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us reach our goal. Please consider giving today.

Melodies of Tomorrow
You can directly contribute to the next generation of performers, composers, and music lovers by supporting our music department. Our boys deserve access to high-quality instruments that allow them to practice, perform, and reach their full potential. Your support ensures that as instruments like our pianos are retired, they can be replaced with new equipment that empowers our young musicians to continue honing their skills. An investment in our music program is an investment in creativity, discipline and a timeless art.

Coding Cadets
Every child deserves the chance to learn the foundational skills that will shape their future. We plan to transform a conventional classroom into a vibrant, unplugged coding facility where our Foundation Phase Boys can explore, collaborate and innovate. Teaching coding and robotics to our boys aged 7 to 9 requires a hands-on engaging and fun approach that taps into their natural curiosity and energy. Our goal is to change the classroom into an interactive and dynamic learning space, featuring a variety of distinct tables, workstations, and floor areas. By donating to our unplugged coding area, you will be directly empowering young boys with the tools they need to become tomorrow’s innovators.
Target: R350 000
Community Challenge!
The Coding Cadets initiative is backed by Fynbos Money. They are making investing simple through the use of smart technology and they’re passionate about supporting the technologists of tomorrow. They’ve challenged the Bosch community to raise R300k for this project and offered to add an extra R50k if we can hit that target.

Stepping Stones to Success
We are excited to introduce our new initiative: the creation of a sensory pathway in our Foundation Phase building. A sensory pathway is a series of floor or wall decals and activities designed to engage children’s senses through movement. The primary purpose is to provide a fun and structured way for children to release excess energy, self-regulate their emotions and improve their focus. By incorporating activities like hopping, jumping, balancing, and pushing, these paths provide proprioceptive and vestibular input, which helps the body and brain feel more grounded and organised. It will help our boys improve their motor skills, coordination, and readiness to learn by providing a “brain break” that is both active and purposeful.

Project Forward Furniture
Help us create classrooms where learning comes to life. We are wanting to replace the desks and chairs of each and every classroom. By acquiring flexible desks and chairs for our Foundation Phase, we can transform our learning environment to better support collaboration, creativity, and hands-on discovery, laying a foundation for key skills like teamwork and problem-solving. To enhance focus and well-being of our Intermediate/Senior Phase Boys, we are upgrading our school furniture with comfortable, ergonomic seating designed to support our boys during extended periods of study. While our current furniture is traditional and rigid, new, flexible seating and tables will allow us to create a truly dynamic and collaborative classroom.

Chromebook Refresh Initiative
Join us in preparing our boys for the future. We’ve established a technology fund to ensure our school remains a leader in education. Your contribution will directly support the replacement of outdated devices such as our Chromebooks, providing our boys with the technology they need for daily lessons, projects, and collaboration. Currently all our boys Grade 4 to 7 have access to their own Chromebook to enhance their learning experience. A gift of any size helps us provide a dynamic and effective learning environment.
